Secluded, quiet and peaceful, Port Moluag is within easy reach of the Scottish mainland whilst feeling totally removed from the pace and noise of city life. Abundant wildlife such as otters, sea eagles and beautiful wild flora can be discovered as well as historic sites such as Gylen castle, all the while surrounded by breathtaking views. The island is easily accessible by the nearby Calmac passenger ferry from Gallanach, near the mainland town of Oban.

With views across Staffa & the Treshnish Isles, you can watch the sun rise over Ben More and set over Lunga from the comfort of the sofa. We’ve ditched the mod cons with no TV & wifi, replacing them with good old fashioned boardgames, a great stack of books and selection of old & new vinyl for the turntable.

Cala Fearnadh Off-Grid cabin, Bunessan, Mull

Cala Fearnadh is a new, unique, off-grid cottage in a quiet village, with stunning sea views of Staffa and the Treshnish Isles, and beyond. There is nothing quite like it anywhere on the island! Electric power is 12 volt, generated by a combination of solar and wind energy. Water comes from the tranquil Loch Assapol, which supplies much of the area.
