Cozy sun-filled studio apartment located in Arcata a block from Humboldt State University, and just three blocks from vibrant downtown Arcata, an interesting university town with gourmet restaurants, cafés and eclectic little shops nestled between Humboldt Bay and the redwoods. The studio apartment easily accommodates three with a comfy queen bed and full size futon.The futon is perfect for one adult or two children. Fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook for yourself. Furnished with a beautiful mix of antiques and unusual flea market treasures, oriental rugs, original artwork. Parking on the alley, private entrance, access to the lovely, private flower-filled garden. Arcata's Redwood Park has extensive trails through the big trees a short walk away, just a few blocks from the apartment. Ocean beaches are a ten-minute drive. Cable TV, dvds old school vinyl record player and records, Ethernet Internet connection. No minimum stay, no cleaning or service fees. Smoking is allowed, but only in the garden. My guesthouse is a few blocks from the Arcata plaza, restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities, art and culture. It is a 10 minute drive to beaches, 20 minute drive to scenic Trinidad and you can walk or bike to the marsh. You’ll love my place because it is near the heart of Arcata. Everything is at your fingertips. A couple blocks off the plaza means you will get the access without all the noise; a great combo. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families with kids.

Downtown Arcata Studio Apartment is in a fun and lively location just a block from the Arcata Plaza overlooking a popular seafood restaurant and next door to a winery/cidery. Countless restaurants, shops, and the Arcata Co-op are within a block or two. There is free parking in our private parking lot, fast 1 gig/second Wi-fi, washer/dryer in apt, and apt is behind secure gate w/keycode. If your dates aren’t available please let us know and we can add a stay in one of our other two apts.

Downtown Arcata is just a seven minute walk down the hill where you will find more restaurants and unique shops on the plaza.
