Myself and my partner had an amazing time here from arrival till we left. Leigh was nothing shy of being a fantastic host! She made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed and always responds quickly if you have a question or need something. The cabins were pristine and beautiful. Couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful and comfortable experience. Would highly recommend and we will certainly be back in the future.

We loved every minute of our stay here. The cabins were superb. Very clean and well maintained. They were even bigger than expected. The grounds were also very well maintained and kept. It was a lovey quiet place, and felt so homely. There was a ‘visitor/guest’ book left and it was so helpful with local directions etc. We have already started looking at dates I we can book to stay again. 5 star rating from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! Alice was very friendly and welcoming. The place looked just like the pictures—clean, quiet, and beautifully located. We were lucky with the weather and really enjoyed using the fire pit with a great view of the surroundings. The outdoor bathtub was also incredibly relaxing. Highly recommended!

Absolutely beautiful place for a relaxing break. Everything was as expected and the instructions and info from hosts was spot on. Lovely clean and fresh space perfect for 2 people. The bed was comfy and cosy and the kitchen was well kitted out. The crisps and shortbread left was a lovely touch. Good parking and pretty easy to find. We had a fantastic 2 nights stay. The hot tub was delightful and the food at the cafe was amazing. Would highly recommend staying here. We are already planning another stay 😊

Great stay at cateran rest, was clean and tidy. No issues with the communication. Hot tub was lovely, we were able to see a lot of wild life while we were there which was nice.

Fantastic location! Felt like home away from home. Samantha was extremely helpful with the amount of information she provided when we first booked. Would definitely recommend this anyone looking for a quiet cosy weekend away!

Lovely lodge in a beautiful setting. Very peaceful location. Lodge is spacious and very well equipped. Stephen was extremely helpful and flexible with our check in/out. He responded immediately and quickly sorted out a fault in the en-suite shower room. Highly recommend this lodge

This is my second visit to the Farmer’s Cottage, and once again, I was blown away by the peace and tranquility. There have been some improvements to the site since my last visit, including a few new additions such as the boat and the camping pod. John and his team are always on hand to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible, and it was lovely to watch and chat with the young girls tending their horses. I will definitely return for more country walks, beautiful sunsets, and an uninterrupted night’s sleep. I would highly recommend it.

A last minute break for myself and my wife. We wanted somewhere a bit off the beaten track where we could rest for a couple of days and we most certainly did. A really beautiful cabin well equipped for short stays or even longer ones. The area was peaceful and we felt like it was just us there even though there was a couple in cabin 1. The other cabin is plenty far away though so you don’t feel they are that near. The bed was very comfy and the rainfall shower was lovely as well. Andy and Amy were great hosts and very helpful when making contact after booking right through the break and leaving as well. We will definitely return one day and would recommend Anniston Cabins to anybody wanting peace and quiet.

Stephen’s place was a perfect home base for our golf trip. The view is amazing and the cottage was very clean and well furnished.

brilliant hideaway in the hills of Dunkeld. lovely host and was always eager to help. we did have an issue with the travel cot not having a mattress but Morag did her best to help with the situation and we managed to create a makeshift bed for our little one using resources already in the cabin. that's the only thing that went awry but we quickly adapted and Morag was very apologetic about the situation. lovely package of teas, wine and goodies upon entry. heating was a bit tricky to figure out at first but after a couple of attempts we got it working OK and it was lovely having an electric fire, made the place feel extra cosy. location was wonderful with a wood in your back garden and animals and lots to see. perfect for a family get away and I'll be eager to return when our little one is a bit older and we can fully explore the town and area more cabin had everything we needed and looking forward to our next stay!

A stay at the Queen’s Hut is a magical experience. Having your own secluded lochside setting, amongst a beautiful pine forest is very special. The interior of the hut has been thoughtfully decorated. The hut is a short walk into Aboyne that had a nice pub and good amenities. We loved every minute of our stay.

Agree with an earlier review, the accommodation is even better than the photos ! Lovely peaceful location, the balcony was a great space to use and watch the wildlife passing by. Great enclosed garden for the dogs & lovely walks from the house. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We had a fab week in the loghouse- it was like a home from home; very spacious, relaxing and comfortable for our family and pup. We really appreciated the blankets for us and the dog as well as the stove which we put to good use in the evenings. We walked or cycled in the area every day and loved heading out straight from the cabin to explore the many paths on our doorstep. We managed to see deer out the kitchen window as well as a red squirrel! Great space for kids and adults alike! Handy to have the pub/restaurant so close although it’s only open Thurs to Sunday! Richard was super helpful and responsive to our messages. We’d definitely recommend if you’re looking for a cosy cabin and love the outdoors!

My partner and I stayed in the Lobster Pod for 2 nights and wish we had stayed longer. The pod was clean, had everything we needed and the hot rub just topped it off. The location was idyllic, and just short walk to the beach which was stunning. We especially loved our visits from the Turkeys! We honestly couldn't have wished for anything more, it was perfect!

My stay at the Love shack as a solo traveller over Christmas was perfect. The cabin was really lovely inside. It's quite a small living area but the bedroom was very spacious. Small cooking area with microwave, electric oven and 2 hobs so everything anyone could need. Bathroom and shower were spotless. There a large outside space with fireplace and chimney and plenty of wood supplied (also coal for the fire inside was supplied for my stay. Top up coal is provided for £5 a scuttle which is vety reasonable!!) Monty was very helpful the few times I messaged him and all in all, I had a wonderful time there!!!!

Oystercatcher, was amazing, well situated with fantastic views of the sea from the decking and the hottub and peacefull surroundings. Everything at hand, for the perfect weekend and Paul was very quick to respond and extremely helpful. Easy stroll into town to the shops and restaurants. Cannot recommend the chip shop enough. we will definitely recommend to our friends and family and we are hoping to get back ourselves again, later on this year.

Exactly what we needed! The price was great and the wigwam was basic but didn’t need to be anything else. They are private enough with stunning views but fairly easy to get to lower Largo or leven (by car) The camp fire outside the wigwam really made the trip more special for us as we were able to use a disposable barbecue and really enjoy the outside. The host popped by to say hello and was responsive with anything we needed. We took our cat and he loved it so we will be booking again 100% for sure however next time it will be for longer as 2 nights wasn’t enough for us

Just home from a family weekend away. The lodge was beautiful and spacious with spectacular views of the river. Lovely restaurants a short drive away. Only minor downside is that the front of the lodge faces onto quite a busy road.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The log cabin is generously proportioned, well equipped and situated in the most beautiful spot. The games room is great fun and the outside space is well designed. We relaxed in the wood fuelled hot tub in woodland surroundings. We will definitely return. Thank you Tara.

Me and my partner loved staying in the lodge. Was cozy, comfortable, peaceful had everything we needed. Beautiful views from the front deck. Will be happy to book here again if we are back in the area.

Absolutely amazing. Very clean and exactly as shown on pictures. I was a bit worried about being cold overnight but the heating was working very well and kept us warm at all times. Netflix wasn’t working- I guess it’s to with the rural area so it affects the internet connection. We weren’t aware of extra electricity charges until the arrival but that didn’t affect our stay what so ever. Everything was spot on. Thank you!
