The municipality is renowned for its 600-hectare historic cultural landscape, part of a unique ensemble of social colonies including Wortel (Hoogstraten), recognised by UNESCO, on the Dutch border. As of 1 April 2026, a tourist tax is mandatory. The tax amounts to €2 per adult (18+) per night, is not included in the price, and is payable on site.

Gebruik zwemvijver in de privétuin van de host. Het loftje is voorzien van een eigen ingang. Interessante fiets- en wandelroutes in de buurt. Stalling van paarden in overleg. Fietsenverhuur (extern) mogelijk, vooraf reserveren.

Ruim appartement in architectenwoning Haasdonk

Onze woning is de oude woning van de architect in het dorpje Haasdonk. Op het gelijkvloers hebben we onze Airbnb ingericht, waar voorheen de tekentafels stonden. Haasdonk is nog een groene long, gelegen tussen Gent en Antwerpen. Het is de ideale uitvalsbasis om cultuur, kunst of historie op te snuiven in een van beide steden. Of bezoek Hof ter Saksen, ons prachtig parkbos, het fort van Haasdonk of wandel en mountainbike op een van de vele paden in de bossen van Haasdonk.
