We had the most amazing time at Will’s home. It’s exactly as described. The home is so cozy and has everything you could ever need. We cooked in and went to a few of his recommended restaurants. Will was extremely responsive from booking to departure. We hope to stay again. Perfect location and the hot tub and deck are fabulous!

Where do we even begin? From the moment we arrived, it felt like staying with long-lost relatives who actually like you. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with thoughtful touches that screamed, ‘We’re overachievers, but in a good way.’ The hosts went above and beyond in ways that felt almost suspicious. We opened the fridge to find bubbly waiting for us (are we royalty now?), and there were chocolates on the counter like they somehow knew our love language. As if that wasn’t enough, we spent an unforgettable evening soaking in the hot tub while it snowed, overlooking the most serene lake view we’ve ever seen. It was like being in a Hallmark movie but without the small-town drama. Every detail was so thoughtful, from the cozy blankets to the recommendations that made us feel like locals. This wasn’t just a stay; it was an experience we’ll be talking about for years. If you’re considering booking, do it. Just don’t book the weekend we want to come back, okay?

The house was as described and pictured. We had a wonderful weekend. Enjoyed the hot tub both nights. Towels for the hot tub were provided. The house had everything we needed. Close to several great beaches and hiking areas! Comfortable beds and furniture. Very clean.

Literally everything about this place was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we had more time to enjoy the property longer. The backyard is the lake, absolutely gorgeous views 😍 From the decor to the amenities, no detail was forgotten. Very impressed with the quality of materials, finishes, and furnishings in this home. The kitchen is a dream, bedrooms are beautifully done, delightful bedding, awesome game room/bar space, and outdoor setup has everything you could possibly need. The hot tub and fire pit were crowd favorites. Extra special thank you to our wonderful hosts for the top tier welcome basket and for being so helpful and responsive. Your place helped create a truly magical weekend.

Our family of 5 had a great stay at Gary’s place. The lake, the pontoon, paddle boards and pedal boat were used daily. It is private and quiet. There are plenty of life vests and even some large inner tubes you can take out on the water. The floating dock and lily pad were covered in goose poop while we were there so we didn’t use them. The house was comfortable and had more amenities than most air BNBs we’ve stayed at. Our favorite spot (besides being on the water) was drinking coffee and reading on the covered porch! Would recommend to families!!

Our stay at this Airbnb was nothing short of incredible. The hosts went above and beyond to support our family during one of the most exciting and emotional times in our lives—the arrival of our child through adoption. With so many unknowns in our journey, they moved mountains to accommodate us, ensuring we had a beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing place to stay, even with our shifting timelines and unique requests. The home itself is absolutely stunning—everything is brand new, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the hot tub was such a treat. From the thoughtful design to the cozy atmosphere, every detail made our stay feel effortless and peaceful. We are already dreaming of returning in the summer to soak in the lake vibes and energy of Nettle Lake. We are beyond grateful for this experience and for the kindness and generosity of our hosts. We loved our weekend on long lake. We had a nice relaxing time hanging out, fishing, enjoying a fire in the evening, etc. Also very much appreciated how stocked the house was with small things we needed, but wouldnt think to bring, like ziplock bags or just common kitchen tools. Overall, a great spot to chill on the lake and Laura and Steve are great hosts who respond quickly if there are any issues.

Great place to stay, very cute and clean. Lots to do on a rainy day or just a night staying in. Plenty of room for everyone and it was set up nicely for guests.

This was our second stay at this cottage and it was perfect for our family of 4 and our pup! Cozy, clean, and close to all we wanted to do!

Great little place near the lake! Very clean and I loved the modern decor; there is a lot of attention to detail. Great kitchen and we appreciated the Keurig coffee and complimentary bottle of wine. Beds were comfortable, linens were fresh!

Cozy atmosphere! The kitchen was well appointed with dishes and cookware. There were plenty of towels, cleaning supplies, etc, and a nice touch was that each bedside table had a block with lots of outlets to plug things in. Thank you!

Terri’s home is beautiful and clean. Bed is comfy and the extra throw blankets are a plus. Kitchen is well stocked.

Beautiful lake view, immaculate living conditions, cozy beds and indoor seating layout, as well as a perfect fire pit setup made for a wonderful spot for my mom, sister and I to celebrate a milestone birthday. We appreciated the view while we sipped coffee in the morning and Aaron responded immediately when we needed a password to access the television on our last night. An easy 10 minute drive to the quaint village area for shopping and dining, I would definitely recommend this beautiful cottage to others looking to spend time on the lake.

Great location and very responsive host. The outdoor furniture has been updated from the pictures. Hosts really went above and beyond with thinking about the “extras” like having ziplock bags, s’more sticks, a mini speaker and other small thoughtful things available. My only complaint was the size of the bathroom. Your knees are literally touching the tub when you’re sitting on the toilet. Everything else was great and we enjoyed our stay! Loved the lake house decor inside!

My husband and I stayed at Jeff's for a few days while we were waiting to close on our home. His place was very clean and wonderful to relax in. It was great to find a place that is pet friendly for responsible pet owners. Jeff meet us at the door to go over everything, give some local food and shopping recommendations and even brought a fire pit over in case we wanted to relax outside. We highly recommend Jeff's place!

I enjoyed everything about my stay. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, and I sat on the porch to watch the lake and wildlife despite some very chilly temperatures. I loved the skylights! Bed was very comfortable and all that I needed was supplied. I would definitely stay here again.

Absolute fantastic little cottage for a little get away.

Our little family had a wonderful time at Valerye's place. It was very cozy and peaceful. The cottage was stocked with a ton of amenities and necessities. The location was perfect to visit all the places we wanted to go. Hagar Park is just a quick drive down the road, it is beautiful even this time of year. Would love to come back during the summer.

Great host and great place to stay while visiting the area!

This was a darling home with a lot of nostalgic elements and vintage touches. It was perfect for our Mom-and-grown-kids-reunion. The kitchen is small, and not conducive to large meals, but was fine for quick-preparation meals and had pretty much everything we needed (including a quality cookie sheet.) We did wish there was air conditioning, but we managed with the really nice ceiling fans and floor fan.

This place is the ultimate get away from everything location! It is remote and quiet. The perfect place to go and just read a book or even take some of your crafts to work on. It is beautiful and quiet. I also love that we were able to bring our dog. My husband and I just went through a catastrophic event and we needed to get away for a few days. This is exactly what we needed. This place felt familiar and like home from the moment we arrived. We will be staying again in the future.

Charming, romantic, rustic, peaceful. Cannot overstate how lovely our stay was. The cottage is just as described and provided everything we needed to have the weekend away that we wanted. Highly recommend getting out in the early morning to go deer spotting! We walked the entirety of the trails and enjoyed every bit of it. Definitely staying here again!

This is one of the most well-appointed Airbnbs I have every stayed in, especially for someone who loves to cook! It was also very family friendly, as we had a one year old in tow. It is right on the lake and the view is so peaceful and blue. We came in cold weather so did not experience the water or the busy season, but it was perfect all the same. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was very clean. Everything - furniture, appliances, etc. - were spotless and in good working order. There were spots to store things, so even though there were six of us (including a baby!) it never felt cluttered or messy. Lots of games provided and the attached all season porch was nice for reading or winding down at the end of the day. 11/10 stars!!!
