Das Cottage befindet sich in echt schöner Lage. Es ist ruhig und idyllisch. Man ist innerhalb 12 min mit dem Auto in Apollo Bay. Zu beachten ist, dass die Möglichkeit sich selbst zu versorgen, sehr begrenzt ist, wie auch im Inserat beschrieben. Wir waren im April da und es war vor allem nachts recht kalt. Für unseren Roadtrip war es ein schöner ruhiger, jedoch teurer, Zwischenstopp.

We had a great stay in the couple's room. It was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The villa was beautiful and perfect for relaxing. We really enjoyed our time there.

This place was awesome and exactly as pictured! Nice gardens to walk around and look at flowers and vegetables growing or sit outside and bird watch. Highly recommend this place and these hosts! Easy drives to lots of pretty places. We saw kangaroo and koala in the wild on our day trips and stunning scenery! Beds were comfortable as were other furnishing. Nice shower, wish I’d had time to try to jacuzzi tub. Decor was nice and beautiful artwork on the walls. Really nice place!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Sea Salt BNB! The cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The location was ideal for exploring the nearby beach and local attractions. We especially loved the charming decor and the little touches that made our stay extra special. We can’t wait to return for another relaxing escape!

Nice place with great amenities. The hot tub was amazing. The fire place was perfect under the stars and the tent was a special touch. Inside the house, the rooms were spacious, the bed was comfy and they even provide some board games. There’s also a big driveway for the cars to park securely inside. It’s pet friendly and the check in was also flexible. The location is great for exploring as everything is a short drive away. Some considerations and feedback for improvements: - The internet was slow, I wasnt able to take calls properly for work - There is no dish washer, and you must wash the dishes by hand. - Inside the tent could use some minor touch ups Overall we enjoyed our stay and the place had lots to offer.

Normally, when you book a place to stay, it's an expectation that the pictures will make it look slightly better than it is. Which is why I was surprised that this place is EVEN BETTER THAN IT LOOKS IN THE PICTURES. What really struck me was how stunning the green surroundings were, which were visible through large windows in every room. The fireplace and dark green walls also give it a cozy ambience. All in all, when I think about "cabin in the rainforest", this place is exactly the ideal I'm picturing. One of the things we really liked was the fact that we had access, steps away, to what was essentially a private rainforest. There was a beautiful tree-fringed billabong that our dog would have swum in if it had been warmer, there were glow-worms at night, and apparently even a platypus (though we didn't see it ourselves). And all of this was all ours to enjoy exclusively. Kim was friendly and communicative. Cannot say enough good things!

Stayed for long weekend to accompany client for respite. She loved everything about the place, as did I. Place was as described and looked even better in person. The pool/sauna/spa area were awesome and we made good use out of these amenities during our stay. Great little living/kitchen area and comfy bed upstairs, Very accessible and accommodating to clients needs. Neighbours were a little noisy, as it was the long weekend that was to be excepted but other than that it was a Relaxing little get away, hope to visit again soon.

A stunning place to stay. The wood fired hot tub is a dream. The fire pit is a nice addition. Lots of comfy sitting spots around the yard and I got to feed carrots to the cute highland cows. The place was just perfect, Jenny provided everything that you could possibly need and more.

We had a great one-night stay at The Blue Bollard. Joanne was a responsive and welcoming host, greeting us on arrival. The space was clean, tidy, and cutely decorated—just what we needed for a short stay. Conveniently located near Apollo Bay’s restaurants and pubs, it made exploring the area easy and enjoyable.

A lovely little place to escape to. Sally was super easy to communicate with. The place is super cute, great kitchen and SUCH a comfy bed!!! you're a close walk to the beach and shops. it's everything it says on the listing.

We LOVED our stay at Kay’s summer house. We got wonderful holiday vibes from the moment we stepped inside the cute cottage - and our pups loved the large fenced in backyard. The house was super clean and easily the most well appointed and equipped Airbnb so far!

Beautiful cottage stay in Forrest! Absolute must for a cosy getaway. Eloise was super helpful with any questions we had and the fire was ready to be lit once we arrived late in afternoon!

A wonderful and quiet spot to relax and unwind. Great house and even better backyard for our dog to have some independence knowing it was completely fenced off. Will be coming back!

Stacey is an amazing host, even offered late checkout as she knew we had our daughter’s wedding. The place was easy to find, clean, comfortable and cozy. Would highly recommended Stacey’s place to everyone, can’t thank her enough for her hospitality.

lovely cottage, garden was great for our dog. Lots to do and enjoy in the surrounding area. Highly recommend a stay.

This is my second time staying at Roost and it is just breathtaking! Incredibly dog friendly, perfect setting, walk up the beach at Johanna to the rock pools. Two mumma koalas with babies right at the doorstep, Gang Gang cockatoo munching by the kitchen window. Can’t ask for more!

Fabulous house and beautiful gardens, one of the best places I have stayed at. Fantastic facilities, love the kitchen and comfortable bed. Wonderful quiet place to relax and recharge, I didn't want to leave but will be back for sure. I also appreciated the wine, bread, coffee and milk in the fridge!

Great house to stay in a great location, would recommend

Highly recommend Geoff’s place for a peaceful getaway. Lots of nature walks in the area and plenty to spot from the deck on the property as well (Koalas, kangaroos, birds). The house was impeccably cleaned, with a gorgeous fireplace and plenty of books to read and DVD’s to watch which was a lovely extra touch. Geoff was really helpful, had plenty of local knowledge and was great for a chat as I was coming and going. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

This was our second time staying at Lara Short Stays ... and, to be honest, it is now the first place we check for accommodation when we are visiting Lara / Geelong region. Julie is very easy to communicate with and the property is fabulous, inside and out!! Even with other guests on the homestead grounds, it is peaceful and quiet. Dad and I look forward to many future stays in the Hidden Cottage!!

From the moment we arrived at Cedarwood Cottage, we felt completely at home. The cottage is beautifully styled—cozy, quiet, and surrounded by nature. We spent our mornings sipping coffee on the deck, listening to the birds, and our evenings curled up by the fire. Jade and James were the perfect hosts—warm, welcoming, and highly responsive. Their thoughtfulness really made our stay feel special. Cedar Cottage is the perfect base to explore the area—Lorne is just down the road with great cafes and beaches, and the Great Ocean Road drives are absolutely stunning. We also loved hiking in the nearby Otways, exploring waterfalls, and admiring the beautiful scenery in the area. This place is a true gem. We left feeling refreshed, already dreaming of coming back.

Lovely place in the bush. Very clean and peaceful. Great to have a fireplace and dvds to watch. Telstra was available. The road was long and winding so I wouldn’t recommend doing many trips back and forth

Wayne is a great host. The property is within the Barrabool Maze Estate. We had access to the entire estate whilst there and our son had a fantastic time doing the maze a few times. There's also a variety of birds and a playground and lots of other things to see. A great cafe with great service and yummy food. The house itself is filled with beautiful art, knick knacks and very spacious. Clean rooms, has everything you need for a weekend stay and felt very private. Not too far from Geelong or surrounding towns. Recommend if you're ever wanting to stay somewhere not too far from a city but wanting quiet & relaxing surroundings.
