Great spot for a quick weekend escape from Bengaluru. The location was peaceful and just what we needed to unwind. Check-in was smooth, and Preethi was very responsive throughout. While the place was generally clean, we did feel it could have been a bit better maintained. There’s some construction nearby, but that was mentioned in the listing, so we were prepared. Overall, a good stay and we’d consider coming back!

The best place for a getaway and looks exactly like the photos. Relaxing and soothing environment. And the best thing the host is responsive and helpful and the caretakers are also very helpful.

If you're looking at this review wondering whether to book this place or not — my answer: “You definitely should!” The location is peaceful, and I had a great stay overall. The host is a genuinely kind and accommodating person, always just a call or text away. A few suggestions that could have improved my stay experience further were: - I was working from home during my stay, and there was construction going on in the adjacent plot. It would have been helpful to be informed about this in advance so I could plan my work better. - While the property was generally clean, I feel there's definitely room for improvement. It would be great if the rooms were thoroughly cleaned before guests arrive(especially cabinets and other furnishings)— things felt a bit rushed in that regard. That said, my stay was still very enjoyable, and with a few tweaks it could have been much more fun!

Our first stop on our travels to Kerela the home is very nice but as it was the weekend people in other rentals were partying into the early hours of the morning and this kept us awake. Dinesh the chef is so helpful he even walked us to the temple we wanted to visit. This is a beautiful place and a little stressful to find so make sure u have exact location to give to taxis! The staff are incredibly nice and will go out their way to help once you get through language barriers. We visited Nandi hills and took the steps to the top! Great views and lovely memories! This is a small and cozy yet a very beautiful place to stay with your gang or as a couple. Shoutout to the property maintenance folks. They are extremely responsive and never hesitant to go an extra mile to delivery service. There’s a kitchen in the property so Swiggy won’t be needed. The food is more than decent and they make it super fast as you order. Additional charges for food will be charged. Overall, extremely satisfied!

This is the second time we stayed at X-cottage including our two pet dogs. The stay was peaceful, comfortable and it was different experience this time given the cool weather and getting to watch cloud covered hills early morning. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to visit again. Thanks Shivnath for being a great host.
