this was actually a HAPPY accident stay! we thought we booked where we stayed last year but pleasantly surprised when we found out we didn't. We are definitely saving this one for next year. Very functional for all of us, plenty of room, kitchen/dining worked out perfect, bathrooms/showers were great, loved that we could walk to town for dinner and drinks. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and we will be back.

Great lakefront cottage near Alpena! Clean, comfortable, with a fantastic private beach. Premium furniture and linens. We loved being close enough to easily visit Alpena's restaurants and shops and delivery is available for when you just want to stay in. Enjoyed the waves and beautiful sunrises for 4 days. The beach was clean and sandy. Close to several state parks. Fossil hunters paradise at Rockport State Rec Area. Highly recommended for a relaxing and convenient Lake Huron getaway.

It's beautiful and secluded in the woods. A perfect place to stay with our dog. We loved it!

Wonderful location and great responsive host. You can walk across the street to a beach or walk a few blocks to the park and town. It was family friendly with great internet so you can easily stay for a few days or a month! A little road noise in the bedrooms but it slows at a reasonable hour. Will definitely stay again!

Everything was great, we enjoyed our time there. Lost power during the ice-storm but so did everyone else in Northern Michigan. thanks Sarah!

All I can say is AMAZING!!! The house was spotless!! There was everything you could think of already there, from extra bedding, toiletries, fans, kitchen supplies!! The setting was beautiful! Very quiet and very comfortable. Hosts were very friendly and responsive to answer any questions! Would definitely recommend for a family stay!

Lots of fun to be had at Linda’s establishment. We enjoyed the fire pit and the WELL stocked wood to accommodate our camp fire😊

This was a great stay for us. The best stocked Airbnb that I’ve stayed at. Ample supplies in the cabinets. The place was relaxing and peaceful with beautiful views of the lake! We floated and used the dock almost every day. Dogs were allowed which is hard to find so that was a great bonus! We had some visitors stop by for a couple of days and they fished the lake and were able to catch some walleye and perch! Overall, a great experience relaxing, peaceful, clean definitely a place I would recommend and come back to!

Mabel’s Place was a comfortable and cozy little home that is easy to relax in. Everything you need for a pleasant stay was available. Roger did a great job making sure my stay was comfortable. It is a lovely little place.

Rob was great. Our family returned to Alpena to go to our Mother’s funeral. It was the perfect location for our family to meet and to get my dog out for walks. I grew up in Alpena so to wake up and see Lake Huron was great. We have to go back to Alpena in July. Rob is truly a great host and the house is phenomenal. My wife and our dog will be back hopefully on a happier occasion.

I stayed at Matt's place multiple times. Each and every time, he was a gracious and kind host. He was extremely helpful and loved my pups too. Thank you Matt for making my transition to Alpena stress free and easy. I recommend Matt's house 100%!!!

Our family stayed here a few years ago. I knew it was where we wanted to be again. We love being in the middle of nowhere. We love the serenity and the wildlife. Very clean and cozy. We stayed a week and I didn’t want to leave when we did. Can’t wait to visit again!

Perfect place for our family to be reunited again!!! Our military son had an event in Alpine and we didn’t miss the chance to see him at least for a few hours, and bring him his dog!!! Host was super nice and welcoming at all times, we definitely recommend this place!

super clean place to stay. pet friendly but you wouldn’t be able to tell that other animals had been in the place. let me check in 3 hours earlier. would recommend staying here.

I wish I could put into words how amazing this stay was! There were so many activities to do here, it was insane! I wish we had more time to enjoy them. It was very peaceful, kayaking down the river was a beautiful experience (definitely recommend water shoes, rocky bottom). They are also very accommodating for pets or for babies, have extra things just in case you forget something. 100000/10 would recommend to anyone!

We had a wonderful time staying here. In the perfect tucked away spot, the pond is very clean and beautiful and feels completely off the grid! The cabin is close enough to both Roger's City and Alpena that we made trips for dinner and to play some golf. Overall, a wonderful experience that made our up north getaway special!
