The New Castle Inn

Upstairs efficiency apartment on Main Street in historic New Castle, Virginia. Convenient to everything in town. Cabin is tucked away from everything. No other houses can be seen from the cabin. The cabin overlooks a beautiful pond with a small waterfall cascading in. Cabin was sustainability built with trees from the 20 acres it sits on. McAfee's Knob trailhead is 10 minutes away, Andy Layne trailhead to tinker cliffs is 9 minutes away.

The great room revolves around a spalded maple peninsula extending the granite counter top in kitchen. The tv is enclosed in a wall of ancient barn wood. Falling Pines Historic Cabin

The original log cabin was built in 1936 by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). These cabins were built after the Blue Ridge Parkway was laid in 1935, which is just down the street. With love and attention our cabin's renovations were complete in 2017. We kept the original log walls to add a rustic feel to the contemporary, crisp clean decor. The cottage overlooks the babbling waters of Back Creek but is just a 5 minute drive to the grocery store, private yet convenient.

Beaverdam Falls, Earlehurst Cottage

Built for $500.00 dollars "back-in-the-day," the Earlehurst Cottage was inhabited by The Carters, a humble, cute old country couple. Here, they raised two daughters. Today, the house is tastefully appointed where expected - & comfortable to modern standards - yet, it has been left as charming, rustic & cozy as it had always been: with elements of the original decor, windows, plaster walls, etc., being preserved. Pets stay for free!

Greenbrier River House

A cabin on the Greenbrier River at Keister only 20 minutes from downtown Lewisburg, the “River House” offers rustic decor but 21st century touches including wi-fi, Direct TV, etc. in a beautiful outdoor setting along the Greenbrier River. The "River House" is about an hour and a half from Snowshoe Ski Resort and from White Water rafting. With electric heat and a cozy fireplace, it is usable in all the seasons.
