The pictures taken in spring don't really do this property justice in summer. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and private and full of greenery and flowers in summer! The home is wonderful inside too - lots of space, so much so that we never even used the TV room. Wi-fi was great (good speed for video/Zoom meetings and reliable). It's a nice 15 minute walk into the main street of town for drinks/food without having to worry about driving. There are just a ton of walking/cycling tracks in the area and all just stunning in scenery. A couple of notes - there's no AC as such, and one of the bedrooms (the bunk beds) is connected only into a king bedroom (and not the hallway; so these two bedrooms won't be ideal for separate parties/family). It's a great place to stay for large groups and highly recommend it!

Staying here's very special. The house balances being very elegant, welcoming and kid-friendly which means everyone gets a good break. There's amazing art, the beds are extremely comfortable, the kitchen's well-appointed, and there are lovely areas for dining, sitting under the trees, relaxing in a hammock and BBQing. There's also a trampoline, sandpit, swing, a climbing frame and room for football. The home is surrounded by opportunities for exquisitely beautiful country walks, golf, and mountain-biking and these experiences are enhanced further by the abundance of sophisticated places nearby to dine (Mora is our top pick). With a car, the delights of Arrowtown and Queenstown are 5 mins and 20 mins away respectively. Charlotte's a kind and thoughtful host. This was our second time here and she'd kindly put up a temporary shower-curtain over a large clear bathroom window in response to our city-dweller feedback that we felt a bit exposed. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous home.

Beautiful home in a beautiful location! We have 3 kids and this was the perfect house for them! They had so much fun playing in the pool and in the playground. The house was beautifully remodeled and in a great location with beautiful mountain views. The host was very flexible and responsive, which we truly appreciated. Arrowtown is an adorable, charming little town just outside of Queenstown and I would highly recommend both the area and the house!!!

Our second time using this home as our holiday base. The house is warm and has a nice homely feel, and is well set up for up to three couples or a family. Had everything we needed to make a 5 night stay very pleasant. Great Cafe within walking distance and well located for doing the Dunstan cycle trail. Would use this home when and if we go back to Cromwell.

Our family had a comfortable and stress-free stay in your cosy spacious home. Cromwell was a perfect spot to explore the region, and we loved the community and amenities, including the best pies in New Zealand! Private location, warm and comfortable, pristine bathroom, would stay again in a heartbeat.

We visit Arrowtown often but this was the first time staying in this place, and we loved it! So spacious, lots of room for our group of 4 people. The kitchen especially was extremely well-equipped and we definitely made use of it during our two week stay. It was warm and inviting and the view out to the hillside cloaked in its lovely autumn colours was the icing on the cake.

Cromwell and Central Otago are always a spectacular place to visit in the Autumn with the colour change in the trees and surrounded by Lake Dunstan and the mountains. Sarah and co-Host Daniel were both very quick to respond to our communications, it was like a home away from home, had everything we needed, be happy to stay there again.

Such a great house! Bathrooms were large, both with floor heating and heated towel racks. The second bathroom had a huge tub I would’ve liked to soak in daily if I had the time! Bedrooms all had lush carpets which was nice in winter. The outdoor spa was amazing, again I wish I had more time to spend in there! Kitchen has everything we could hope for. Key in lockbox made check in easy. House was super spacious. Excellent airplane viewing and great misty views across the valley and at the mountains. We would’ve liked to stay longer but alas, the place was booked out!

Jef is a top notch host. The house is absolutely beautiful and the location overlooking the lake is ideal. You won’t a better host or property to stay at!! Highly recommend.
