We came to the San Luis Valley to visit family. We came from Kansas and Oklahoma. The house far exeeded expectations. It was very stocked, kitchen had everything to cook. I did an apple pie and forgot nutmeg. I found some in the cabinet! The yard was perfect for the children. We did all the local things: aligator farm, pool, sand dunes, and even drove up to Monarch Mountain to snow tube. The dark skies, sunrises and sunsets, were perfection. The home feels so warm and welcoming. We loved our stay here and highly recommended.

Loved the place and the location. 20ish min drive from the Great Sand Dunes. House was clean and host was responsive as well as accommodating. Gaming console was an added bonus, took right back to my childhood. I would love to stay here again on my next visit.

We loved staying at Sandra's place! It was very spacious for a tiny home. It is well maintained and as someone who is sensitive to smells, the cleaning products were not strong which was very appreciated! The directions and check in instructions were incredibly detailed and helpful. Sandra was also very quick to respond and kind to answer our questions. Highly recommend staying with Sandra!

Loved Patrick's place! The camper is well-maintained and has everything you need. The outdoor hangout area with gas fire pit, zero gravity chairs, tables and grill was awesome -- especially at night for gazing at the millions of stars! It was such an easy 10 minute drive to the sand dunes -- we went twice! Patrick was very kind, thoughtful and quick to respond -- a great host! Definitely a great place to stay when visiting the sand dunes.

What a fun space and lovely host! Clean and comfortable, had everything we needed. Extras like milk, bagels, cream cheese, etc. were a bonus.

My husband and I stayed here for one night while on a mini road trip through parts of Colorado. It was great after some time exploring Great Sand Dunes National Park. The place was clean, comfortable, and had adequate amenities. Anything that could have been a struggle - TV, heaters, shower faucet - were well explained in the instructions. There is literally NOTHING around so it was definitely quiet and peaceful. Sadly, it was cloudy the night we were there so we didn't get to stargaze, but I imagine it would be beautiful. The fire pit and outdoor area would be perfect too, but by the time we arrived from the park, we were too exhausted (and cold) to take advantage. Tip to others: The closest town with a few places to eat is Alamosa and there aren't a ton of options, especially if arriving late; the Chinese restaurant however was excellent! Overall, I would recommend this stay.

The host are always responsive, kind and their home is beautiful. It is walkable and the neighborhood feels safe and the neighbors are kind. Highly recommend

We had an absolutely lovely stay here. The house itself is situated with a fantastic view out the front across the plain and the back face the local mountain range making for an idyllic spot. The house itself is very new and nicely appointed. The kitchen was very well appointed while the living and were comfortable and tastefully decorated. All this and close to the great sand dunes park makes it a place we hope to return to again.
