This area boasts beautiful beaches, forest walks, fishing, birdwatching and the famous Seven Heads Walk. Ballinspittle is a short drive with a unique gift shop, deli and cafe. Rebecca"s farm shop and cafe is a 5 minute walk. Vibrant farmers markets and the many restaurants in this area celebrate the wonderful local produce from land and sea.

The Coach House is an ideal spot for a romantic hideaway on the Wild Atlantic Way. The mezzanine bedroom boasts a kingsize sleigh bed , overlooking a cosy sitting room with a wood-burning stove for warming your hands and feet after a walk on the beach or a dip in the sea. For small families the sofa in the sitting room converts into a comfortable single bed. Outside the traditional coach house doors is a stone paved terrace, garden furniture & steps down to a sunken garden

Ark Ranch Treehouse, rainforest oasis in West Cork

This hand crafted Tree House is nestled in a tranquil oasis of trees and ferns and is an ideal getaway to wind down, connect with nature and recharge your batteries. Douce Mountain cabin is a charming self contained little house situated at the foot of Douce Mountain. There is a living space with a stove and a kitchenette on the groundfloor . A ladder leads the loft with 2 beds. It is a very quiet place surrounded y nature. Our other guesthouse is about 100 metres further down . Our own farmhouse is about 500 metres away. It is ideal for someone looking for a very quiet place to relax and immerse themselves in nature.

The Snug is a cosy, detached hideaway for two — the perfect retreat to relax and reconnect. Nestled in a quiet, scenic spot near Clonakilty, it offers peace, privacy, and the chance to slow down and enjoy West Cork. Just a 10-minute drive (8 km) brings you to the colourful town of Clonakilty with its shops, cafés, and restaurants, while Inchydoney, Red Strand, and The Warren beaches are only 15–20 minutes away along the Wild Atlantic Way.
