Stayed with my adult kids and grand baby. We had an absolutely amazing stay at David’s accommodation! The home was set out well to suit all of our needs and had recently been updated. Access to the kayaks was an excellent way to enjoy the ocean and have fun together. Such a beautiful location central to heaps of local sites of interest, not to mention the gateway to Abel Tasman National Park. Good comms from host - very easy to book and access. Would highly recommend and would definitely return, if in the area! Thanks again David.

We had a beautifully relaxing and energising couple of days at Tira Ora. The hosts were super lovely, the place was full of rustic charm, animals and birds everywhere. The rooms were comfortable, home-cooked food was delicious, and the place so captivating, we were sorry to have to leave. Great for families, a real natural treat away from it all.

Tash’s Bach is an excellent place to be and relax. Communication with Tash was great. I loved being close to the water.

Loved Ruth's place and really found an appreciation for the art. Awesome location nice and central to town and bars and restaurants close by with beautiful views and all the homely things you could need. Place was also really cosy and homely

We had an amazing stay at Ben’s house.Its in a great location and has a great fireplace: the beds were very comfortable and loved being able to use the kayaks. The Fejoa tree was enjoyed by the kids

Such a lovely place, really! We can highly recommend sitting down by the water to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with a stunning view on a sunny day. Really loved the apartment as well, we felt right at home. David is very kind and responded really fast if we had a question or needed help. 100% recommended ☺️

It was an absolute treat to wake up each day at Te Wai Tahi and spend our time. Right on the waters edge, just a short stroll from the Mapua wharf and all its goodness, Te Wai Tahi is blissfully placed. The house had all we'd needed to enjoy our stay, with an abundance of feijoa as an extra treat. Marianne was warm and responsive. Fabulous all round.

We have had the most amazing stay! The apartment is even better than it looks in the photos! View to die for from the enormous balcony, super comfortable beds, high end appliances & friendly accommodating hosts… we don’t want to leave!

We found the Clifftop Retreat cabin suited our needs perfectly and Bob provided an excellent level of communication, service and local tips. He also ensured the pantry and wines were stocked with high quality local products. The accomodation was very good with comfortable bed, terrific functional kitchen and amazing clifftop views of the surrounding bay and local area. The location was perfect for our walking trips up into the Abel Tasman National Park and also fantastic local restaurants and wineries. Bob also organised a pick up from the airport for us as we arrived late at night. Overall a fantastic stay and would certainly recommend Clifftop Retreats very highly.

On arrival the bach was unfortunately not ready for us, but this was due to an oversight by the cleaner, not Emma. Emma was super quick to respond and very apologetic when we messaged about it and couldn't have been more prompt in getting things resolved which we really appreciated. After this initial blip we loved our four night stay here. The bach feels like the best of both worlds - an old family bach and the charm that comes with that, made even better with significant modernising updates like the massive glass doors, and all the other mod cons and extras (big fridge, dishwasher, washer and dryer, heatpump/AC, Chromecast, etc). It is off the beaten track and feels so peaceful and private. Being so close to the sea is a real treat. We would love to come back some time in the warmer months so we can make the most of the amazing outdoor areas and pool! (just a bit too chilly for us softies to swim in it at this time of year... we did love the outdoor fireplace though!). :)

Stunning views, every minute in this beautiful building was amazing! The location is close to Split Apple rock, which was a cool mini hike. The Abel Tasman tour booths and pick up are less than a 15 minute drive away to book a trip out into the national park. There are penguins that come up to the property at night that are hilarious to listen to, we went to an aquarium a few days later and found a stuffed animal that sounded so similar that between our group we ended up getting three of these stuffies throughout the trip just because we'd heard them at this location and it was such a good memory to have made. I Wish we could have stayed longer. Hope we get the chance to again someday!

A wonderful home in a beautiful location with stunning views. We particularly enjoyed the pool, spa and being able to walk to amazing restaurants and wine bar. Sally and Wayne were friendly helpful hosts. Highly recommend staying

Beautiful place and location, and Sally and Wayne are very welcoming. A cute little village with great restaurants and ice cream is just a short walk down the beach. I highly recommend this spot for anyone, but especially for people interested in sitting on the deck soaking up the gorgeous scenery !

Paul’s house and setting matched our expectations from the listing. It was very clean, tidy, spacious, warm and nicely furnished. The lounge, dining and kitchen area looked out across the garden to the beach. Unfortunately it rained for most of our short stay so we didn’t take as much advantage of the outdoor setting and facilities as we might have otherwise done. Despite that our party of 4 adults and 3 children all enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very welcoming and were quick to answer any queries we had.

We were met by co-host Amanda who kindly showed us in and walked us through the property. It exceeded our expectations, was across the road from the harbour and restaurants, and walking distance to Nelson centre. Secure convenient parking included. We would highly recommend this apartment for your next stay in beautiful Nelson.

I booked this accommodation for our TV host and he absolutely loved the place. He couldn't stop sending pictures of the beautiful vista from the deck and loved the peaceful surroundings right on the water. Tamsin was extremely helpful with extra amenities and local recommendations and check in was easy.

Our stay at Awaroa Bach was unforgettable. Elva and Geoff were incredibly welcoming and generous with their time, offering local insight that helped us make the most of our visit. The bach is peaceful, well-appointed, and perfectly located with easy access to the estuary and nearby water taxi stops. We loved the spacious bedroom, outdoor kitchen with BBQ, and thoughtful touches like fresh herbs from Elva’s garden. A highlight was kayaking at high tide and spotting manta rays—truly magical. On our last night, we shared dinner with Elva, Geoff, and some neighbors, which made us feel genuinely at home. Highly recommended.

Stunning place, surrounded by beautiful nature. Karen has done an excellent work on the place to make you feel comfortable and welcome with subtle details.

This Airbnb exceeded our expectations. There was lots of room for the group of us. It had all the appliances and utensils needed in their kitchen. The hosts were great communicators and provided us with all the information we needed to get to the bnb and how to explore the surrounding areas.

We had a great time in Mapua. John and Kim were absolutely lovely and gave us very good recommendations for activities. For example we could use their bikes to go to Rabbit Island. We also had fun using their canoe. The wharf with bars and restaurants is only a short walk from the house. We would definitely stay here again.

this is a great place to stay while visiting Picton. Location is lovely and easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Loved watching the activity in the marina. Accommodation was very well appointed and clean and comfortable. Note - make sure to read the location and access instructions before you arrive (will save some confusion) and the internal access to downstairs bedroom is via a narrow spiral stairs. Would definitely stay again next time we visit Picton!
