Plenty of privacy with 300' of lakefront and large dock (May-Sept: lake still accessible when dock is out). Build a campfire to roast s'mores, fire up the grill, or snuggle in front of the fireplace. Hang out in the poolroom for indoor fun with tv, wet bar and pool table. The perfect Maine get-away!

There are many beautiful hikes, ponds, lakes, streams, ATV and snowmobile trails nearby to enjoy and the best part is coming back and unwinding to the rippling river, the crackling fire pit and the starlit skies.

We recently acquired the house we live in which has an efficiency apartment in the back. It is cozy and private. The house is old and unique. It was previously a long term rental. We wanted to provide a restful space in the heart of Maine Highlands, the crossroads of Central Maine. We enjoy the scenic area with beautiful lakes rivers, multiuse trail systems and trail head of the 100 mile wilderness of the Appalachian Trail, Moosehead lake, Maine's largest lake, and State Parks.

Perfect for one or two couples or one couple with children. WestView sits 25 feet from the edge of Whetstone Pond with views of Russell Mountain and spectacular sunsets from its 7 acre perch. I live at a campsite which is barely visible from the cabin. Our one neighbor, also barely visible through the trees, loves their privacy as well.
