A Capela was a wonderful, peaceful place. It close to the heart of Sintra but far enough away to feel private. They have a connection with a nearby cafe for daily breakfast options that were delicious. The grounds are quaint with fruit trees, a pool, and a table to eat outside. There was a peacock and rooster on the grounds, which were listed in the description. It goes without saying, but the rooster crows, so keep that in mind - it did not bother us. If you eat outside, the rooster might come to join you, but we did not feed him and he eventually left :) The showers are very nice with adequate hot water - be careful if you have young children because the beautiful tile floors in the bathroom can become slick if you don't wipe them dry. The host was very nice and responsible, and the person who checked us in and out was easy to communicate with via the messaging app. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was nice!

What can I say. The host were awesome and kept in touch through out the booking process and welcomed us to their home and kept in touch through out our stay. The location is perfect for a walk to the beach and very peaceful and friendly area. Everything you needed for the stay was provided. We had no issues. We would highly recommend the home and the hosts were perfect throughout. We will definitely go back.

Quinta da Bella Vista exceeded expectations. Dinesh, who checked us in, truly set the mood for our elopement with welcoming jazz music, wine, and cheese. The space was much larger than we anticipated, perfect for our pre-wedding prep. We loved it so much, we added an extra day to soak it all in! Aline and Dinesh's hospitality went above and beyond – their responsiveness to our needs made everything seamless. We couldn't resist adding the delicious breakfast each day (highly recommend!), fueling our explorations of the charming town within walking distance. Evenings were spent enjoying deliveries via the Glovo app, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. The Quinta itself is breathtaking – stunning grounds, incredible views, and beautiful architecture. It couldn't have been a more magical place to celebrate our elopement. Quinta da Bella Vista holds a very special place in our hearts, and we'll definitely be back for anniversaries and any other excuse we can find!

Maria and her husband were lovely hosts and for our family of 9 it was a great place to stay and spend time together. We especially enjoyed the area around the pool and the kids went in when the weather would allow it. The house is very well equipped and had everything we needed. It was also ideally located for everyone to go off on their own sometimes. Some went to the China market across the street, some went grocery shopping, some to the playground and some to McDonalds which is all close by. The local market with fresh fish, vegetables and bread is also just down the street, in walking distance, and full of local life. In general the possibilities for grocery shopping in the neighborhood are good. Thank you so much to Maria and her husband for having us!

La maison est magnifique, grande avec des espaces pour chacun (y compris salles de bain) ce qui est très agréable. Elle est très bien équipée y compris pour cuisiner. Elle offre une superbe vue sur les environs dans un cadre extrèmement reposant. Les bemols la literie qui mériterait d'être changée et la chambre des enfants qui est très humide et nécessite de faire tourner un déshumificateur en permanence. J'ai par ailleurs été un peu surprise du manque de tact de l'hôte (ou des personnes qui gèrent le bien pour lui) qui demande comment nous avions pu faire une tâche sur un évier en inox alors que celle ci était déjà là. Mais effectivement difficile de savoir qui a raison avec un échange des clés express à l'arrivée. L'expérience reste néanmoins très positive et la maison top.

Lovely and friendly host; big, very clean and comfortable house, one car in garage, the other one fits in the gated driveway. The owners are very responsive with any issues and have provided great local recommendations 👍

Um estadia que claramente correu bem do início ao fim. De todas as casas que já estive no airbnb é provavelmente a que tinha a cozinha melhor equipada, tinha tudo o que era necessário. Fomos bem recebidos e acompanhados ao longo da nossa estadia. A casa era exatamente o que mostram as fotos, e estava muito limpa e arrumada. Zona muito calma e relativamente perto de tudo o que era necessário.

Famille de 14 personnes, nous avons passé une nuit dans le logement de Xiuhua. Personne très sympathique et réactive, elle a répondu à toutes nos questions et demandes. La maison est très bien, simple mais équipée comme il faut. L’environnement n’est pas forcément des plus jolis mais assez proche du centre de Lisbonne (30 minutes en voiture) et très calme (important avec des enfants). Merci à Xiuhua pour son accueil (petits cadeaux d’arrivée) et sa disponibilité. Je recommande ce logement.

A casa foi perfeita para a nossa despedida de solteiro! A localização era ideal, aconchegante e discreta, o que nos permitiu aproveitar ao máximo a nossa festa sem perturbar os vizinhos. A casa tinha todos os equipamentos necessários para uma estadia confortável, incluindo uma cozinha bem equipada e um espaço amplo para nos divertirmos. Além disso, a piscina foi um ponto alto da nossa estadia, permitindo-nos relaxar e nos divertir ao mesmo tempo. O que mais gostei foi a flexibilidade e a liberdade que a casa nos proporcionou. Pudemos fazer o que queríamos, quando queríamos, sem restrições ou problemas. No geral, a casa foi uma escolha excelente para a nossa despedida de solteiro. Recomendo-a a todos os que procuram um local confortável e divertido para celebrar uma ocasião especial.

We had our wedding at this beautiful villa and also spent several days here with our guests—it was truly unforgettable. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The owners were incredibly helpful and kind, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The garden is stunning and the views created the perfect backdrop for our celebration. They prepared the catering with traditional food, and everyone absolutely loved it. Highly recommended!

Wir waren mit den Großeltern und Kindern zu neun in Lissabon und haben uns von Anfang an wie zu Hause gefühlt. Für große Gruppen drei Bädern und ausreichend Schlafzimmern mit gutem Betten sehr gut geeignet. Die Küche lädt zum Kochen ein und der Esszimmer Tisch ist riesig. Jederzeit wieder. Vielen Dank.

La casa es fantástica, igual que aparece en las fotografías. Es un sitio muy tranquilo y era lo que buscábamos para conocer la zona. Lástima que tiempo no nos haya permitido disfrutar de las vistas, pero también es el encanto de la zona. Totalmente recomendable.

This Airbnb was exactly what my group was looking for! The house looked just like the photos, and the hosts were incredibly accommodating. Upon check-in, we were warmly welcomed by Rudy’s mother, Sylvie, who kindly introduced us to the space. The pool and outdoor seating area were lovely additions, and having a walkable grocery store nearby was super convenient. Rudy and Sylvie were very responsive and made us feel truly welcome. We would absolutely stay here again—thanks for a wonderful experience!

Hemos estado 4 días y la verdad que la experiencia ha sido impecable. La casa esta muy bien, muy amplia y cuidada y con todas las comodidades que se necesitan. No nos ha faltado de nada. Además la “casita” exterior que cuenta con baño, cocina, mesa grande, billar, futbolín, barbacoa… es donde al final pasas mas tiempo porque es amplia y esta fenomenal. Jorge ademas es un anfitrión excepcional, nos traía pan recién hecho a diario para el desayuno y nos dejó de todo lo necesario para tener buenos desayunos, bollería, cereales, pan, huevos, leche, zumos, etc... El trato con él es fantástico. Un anfitrión de 10! Gracias Jorge!! Hemos disfrutado mucho tu casa!!

Sítio ótimo para descansar e repor as energias! Muita natureza e acessos fáceis a supermercados e locais turísticos. Fomos muito bem recebidos e qualquer dúvida que surgiu tivemos resposta imediata! Sem dúvida um sítio a regressar.

Excelente alojamento. Adoramos a casa, é muito espaçosa, aconchegante, muito melhor do que aparenta nas fotos. Ficamos maravilhados. Para quem tem crianças pequenas é uma excelente opção para ir curtir em família. A Sra Jacqueline foi uma excelente anfitriã, muito prestativa. Sem dúvida é um local que voltaremos.

Great spot. It’s not massive, however perfect for a family of four. We also had in-laws with us who stayed in the separate house which suited us all just fine. Pool is lovely, easy to access the surrounding area (by car!) Don’t hire an estate though - narrow driveway means a 10 point turn! Great place for a fortnight - thank you

Really enjoyed staying at this place with my friends. The location is great, as well as the view! The place is also clean. The apartment could use some more decoration and furniture, for example: there is nothing in the roofterrace to sit on and there is only one small couch which only fit 3 persons in the living room.

Ons verblijf was fantastisch! Het huis van Joao was prachtig gelegen, rustig en we voelden ons meteen thuis. De faciliteiten waren uitstekend en kwamen overeen met de advertentie! Wij komen graag nog een keer terug!
