In summer, Greer is an escape from high temperatures. Wildflowers sprout in alpine meadows alive with native wildlife including antelope, deer, and elk. Autumn means burnished leaves and crisp temperatures. Snow transforms the town to a Winter wonderland in the Winter. Recreational opportunities abound in every season. The clear waters of the Little Colorado River run right through town and three lakes offer sport fishing for trout. There’s also hiking, hunting, horseback riding, and skiing.

Please note: a nearby resort hosts weddings and events throughout the year, which may result in noise and increased activity, especially on weekends and summer months.
